Hey! My name is Mugsy! I’m nine months old and
I’m not afraid of nuffin’. I am all puppy energy and
sweetness. I don’t really know my name yet, but I do know what
“no” means, and that I’m supposed to tinkle outside, not in.
When I go outside, I always take care of business first. My
foster folks have stairs, and I think they are great fun. I’m
sleeping in a kennel right now, and I don’t love that, but my
foster mom said I have to wait for my forever home because we
don’t know if they’ll want me in their bed. I wouldn’t take up
much room, won’t you give me a home?

Pax

Ralphie
is a 2 year old fawn male. He was found in a bad wind and rain
storm just laying next some railroad tracks. His rescurer took him in
and brought him to her vet the next day. He had some worms and fleas and
they treated him for that and he had an ear infection and he got meds
for that. He was also very thin and had numerous cuts and scraps on him.
She brought him to our vet in Memphis where he stayed and was given a
full checkup and was neutered. Ralphie is a very sweet little boy
who loves to cuddle in his foster mom's lap and go
to sleep. When you gently pet his head, he will lean his head back and
close his eyes as if to say "Ahhh...now this is the life." Ralphie is a
very happy boy who loves playing with other dogs
and people, belly rubs, and just hanging out in
your lap. . Ralphie is truly a loving companion
who would really enjoy being part of a family.

Hello. We are Pepper & Rambo. We are siblings and are both a 1-1/2 year old. We have always been very well cared for, but our Mom became ill and just couldn't do it any longer. We have been spayed/neutered, current on shots, good with kids and cats and we would love to be able to stay together. We are learning to walk on a leash, don't mind being crated together and love to cuddle. I (Pepper) am fine without Rambo but he cannot stand being separated from me.

Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell was
dropped off at a local shelter by her owner. They said she was coughing
and couldn't afford to take her to the vet. She was spayed, got all of
her shots and went to a foster home. Her foster Mom noticed she drank
water constantly and didn't have any interest in eating. We took her
back to Dr. Blackburn and it was determined she needed liver shunt
surgery. This is a birth defect that allows blood to bypass the liver,
reducing the body’s ability to make proteins, store sugars and remove
toxins form the bloodstream. She had surgery the beginning of September
and it was a success. Almost immediately she was like a new puppy—she
quickly became playful. discovered what toys were; gained weight and her
personality began to come out. She’s had follow up blood work and is now
a happy healthy Pug. She doesn’t require any special care or diet and
takes no medication. She’s learned to walk on a leash and love to run
around the back yard and play chase with her foster sisters.
