Jesse was picked up by animal control here in Memphis on Thursday December 11, 2008. He had surgery to remove his eye and his foster home has decided to adopt him. He now has an adorable Pug sister name Lala. His new Mom says he is doing great and is full of personality and love.

Monte was found wandering the streets in freezing weather. He
was cold and hungry and very appreciative
of his rescuer. She brought him to the Humane Society and he
was turned over to Pug Rescue the next day. We took him to Dr.
Blackburn and he gave him a full exam. Other than a skin infection,
he found him to be in good health. He's up to date on all of
his vaccinations, is heartworm negative and will be neutered on
2/2/09. He'll then go to a foster home where his temperament
and personality will be evaluated so we can ensure he
will go to the
perfect home and never
be a stray again. Monte age is estimated to be 3 -5 years
old

He
is a one year old male pug that was turned over to a vet
here in Memphis after a dog fight. He was "let out
the wrong door" at his home and the family's other pet,
a pit bull attacked him. He got his face chewed up
pretty good and he lost his
left
eye.
The other wounds are healing nicely. Sadly he also
tested positive for heartworms. He has begun
treatment for them and is now in a loving foster home.
He will be on "crate rest" for another 3 weeks.
After that, he will be reevaluated and neutered.
He is otherwise a healthy happy boy who will make
someone a wonderful pet once he has fully recovered.
His foster home says he is a total love bug and wants to
be with them all the time. He's getting along with
his foster siblings very well. We estimate it will
be at least 4-6 weeks before he is ready for a permanent
home. We are accepting applications for Nino.

AKA Toby He is a young Pug, about 1-1/2 old. He's
a healthy boy, up to date on his shots and has been neutered. He was
found wandering as a stray. He's a sweet Pug, gets along great with
other dogs, is housetrained and is learning some simple commands.
